The long-awaited Chevrolet Camaro is finally arriving in Chevy showrooms. GM has struggled to entice customers to dealerships in recent months, but the stunning new Camaro muscle car is expected to do the trick. With styling akin to the Camaros of the decades past, not to mention powerful and relatively fuel efficient engine choices, the 2010 Camaro looks like it will be giving the Mustang and the Challenger a run for their money.
For 2010, the iconic Chevrolet Camaro returns. Currently available as just a two-door, it will soon be available as a convertible as well. Powering the Camaro is a 304 horsepower 3.6-liter V6 engine. A 400-horsepower or 426-horsepower V8 engine is also available. Needless to say, Chevy dealers Chicago repeatedly point out that the latest muscle car is not short on power! Additionally, the Camaro has Active Fuel Management which deactivates cylinders to save fuel, and has a range of safety features including ABS, an antiskid system, and side and curtain airbags.
So far, reviews have been positive. Many shoppers at Chevrolet Tuscaloosa have been presently surprised that the powerful V6 still gets 17 mpg city and 29 mpg highway. Even the V8 gets 16 mpg city and 24 mpg highway. Louisville Chevrolet dealers say this is particularly impressive considering the V8 powered model still sprints to 60 in a mere 5 seconds flat. Despite the bad news surround GM lately, expects things to look up for Chevy and its latest muscle car.
