In addition, with more buyers looking to smaller, more fuel efficient vehicles, the Chevrolet brand is attempting is attempting to position itself more aggressively and gain market share.

The official release of Chevrolet Cruze photos shows that the new Chevy is more stylish than the Cobalt. It even has the appearance of a much more expensive vehicle with clean, graceful lines and styling that features a hint of European design cues. With its modern styling, Chevrolet is hoping that the Cruze will appeal to a wide audience, and not just American buyers. The Cruze is set to be sold in many automotive markets beyond the US. As a global platform, the Chevrolet Cruze will also be rear-wheel-drive. It also possesses a design scheme that is hoped to appeal to every market.

The Chevrolet Cruze is set to launch in Europe next year. Buyers will be able to choose between either a 112 horsepower engine, or a 140 horsepower 1.8 liter turbo-diesel engine. For the Cruze’s US launch, which dealers such as New Mexico Chevrolet dealers are eagerly anticipating, it should also include a 1.4 liter direct-injected turbocharged engine mated to a six-speed transmission.
